Julia Horton

M.A. Student

Julia is a first-year M.A. student who graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Spring 2021 with a B.A. in Spanish. She has also received a certification in TESOL and began her work translating poetry from Spanish to English as an undergraduate. Julia is a FLAS Fellow for the 2021-2022 Academic Year and is currently learning Quechua as her third language. Her primary research interests are in language variation and syntax.

  • TESOL Certification obtained through Saint Louis University Madrid
