Ph.D. Graduate French Preceptor 1000 Level Julia is an alumna of Berry College (B.A. French) and the University of North Carolina (M.A. French). Prior to coming to the University of Georgia she taught English in Tours, France to high school students. While working on her M.A. she was a T.A. for beginner and intermediate level French classes and for the French discussion section of a European Cinema class. Julia then taught International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement French classes at the middle and high school levels in the United States, China and the U.A.E. Additionally, she taught beginner level Spanish courses for two years. Julia's primary linguistic interests pertain to language variation and change in French.
