The Linguistics Society at the University of Georgia is proud to present the 7th Annual Linguistics Conference at UGA on October 9th and 10th, 2021! The central focus of this year’s conference is ''Language and Connection.'' We will host presentations with creative interpretations of the central theme and that span academic fields, as well as connect academia with the larger community. We are proud to welcome our plenary speakers, Dr. Lelia Glass of Georgia Tech and Dr. Robin Dodsworth of North Carolina State University, who will share their insight on topics related to this theme.

This year's conference will be simulcast on Gather, so we are happy to welcome virtual presentations and attendees from anywhere in the world. Registration for both is currently open, and the first 30 non-presenters to register to attend virtually will have the registration fee waived! Please follow the links on the sidebar to register.

For more information, contact either Joshua McNeill (joshua.mcneill@uga.edu) or Rachel Hignite (rkh94649@uga.edu).
