Dante (he, him) has a B.A. in Linguistics with a minor in Japanese from the University of Georgia. He is a first year master's student in the department, and his interests generally include computational linguistics and morphosyntax. More specifically, Dante uses computational methodology to analyze syntactic alternations/phenomenon in East Asian languages and African American Language.

After completing his M.A. at UGA, he plans to transition into a Ph.D program to continue research and further his studies.

B.A. Linguistics, University of Georgia 

Specific Research Areas:

Current research includes a qualitative/quantitative analysis of linguistic variables in rap music, an analysis of past/present perfect and perfect progressive alternations, and an analysis of 'used to' in African American Language.
