Associate Professor, Dept. of Language and Literacy Education Ruth Harman is an Associate Professor in TESOL and World Language Education in the Department of Language and Literacy and an affiliated professor in Linguistics at the University of Georgia. Her research includes exploration of critical performative pedagogy, critical discourse analysis and systemic functional linguistics as a teaching and analytic resource. She is actively engaged in arts-based participatory research with local emergent bilingual students and their ESOL teachers.
