Lindo received her undergraduate, Honors,  Master's degrees in African languages and Linguistics from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is mainly interested in the field of sociolinguistics. She is the instructor of record for ZULU 1001, so she hopes to incorporate her native language (isiZulu) into her sociolinguistics research.

Seaira Lett

Seaira’s research interests include language documentation and indigenous languages of Latin America. Her focus is on the morphosyntax and semantics of Chuj, a Mayan language spoken primarily in Guatemala. She has done fieldwork both in Guatemala and with diaspora speakers in the US.
